Heidi L. Harder, 42, of Batavia is being charged with kidnapping 2nd, endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful imprisonment
Harder took a child and locked herself in her apartment!
She refused to return the child, but obviously that didn't last long.
Harder was hammered, forcing police to force entry with weapons drawn to the defendant’s apartment to retrieve” the child.
The child had been left with her grandmother while the mother was at work that night.
The police report said that Harder did have an argument with the grandmother before taking the child.
Harder was arrested and the child was returned.
Harder is now being held without bail.
