The Ontario County Sheriff's Office arrested Nicholas Heberle last Friday after he tried to meet up and have sex with a 14-year-old girl he had been messaging on an app.
Problem is....it was an undercover officer with Canandaigua PD.
Heberle, who is 29-years-old and apparently married with at least 1 child, is accused of using the app over the course of several days and messaging 'the girl' that he wanted to have sex with her and described various sex acts.
That's when the Ontario man allegedly arranged to meet the girl in Victor. When he showed up he was arrested and charged with 2nd degree attempted rape.
Canandaigua Police arrested 33-year-old Pittsford Man David Alva in a similar story.
He is accused of using the social media app "Whisper" to try and convince someone that he thought was 14-years-old to have sex with him.
Avla is charged with second degree attempted rape.
